- Launch Web Link - When the QR code is scanned, the phone's web browser will open to a webpage where the contact can complete the necessary steps.
Button Selection - The kiosk button linked to the QR code will either opt-in or check in a contact.
SMS Keyword - Choose between a QR code or a Keyword to appear on the contacts' phone.
- QR - Generates the word "QR" and an alphanumeric security code.
Example: "qr 47S2wgSwpJO" - Keyword - Generates the keyword attached to the touchless feature and a security code.
Example: "VIP cyQ2wgQwJJU"
Note: Use QR if the keyword is to be hidden. Also, contacts will receive two sets of text messages; (1) a message response pertaining to the touchless experience & (2) a message pertaining to the mobile campaign opt-in flow.
Primary Screen - Displays the selected button or the kiosk main page.
- Selected Button Only - The URL opens to a page where the contact must enter the necessary information to complete the process.
- Show Main Page: The URL opens to a page where the customer selects a button and enters the necessary information to complete the process.
Security Expiration - The amount of time before the QR code resets for security purposes.
Note: It is recommended that no more than 2 minutes be selected to prevent misuse.
QR CODE POSITION
The QR Code Position settings will allow for modifying the size & position. Determining where to place the QR code depends on the kiosk display.
Note: The QR Code does NOT go away regardless of the kiosk page. A split-screen display is recommended to provide a defined location for the QR code to appear without interrupting any interactions or messaging on the kiosk.
