A dedicated messaging code that is no longer in use can be disconnected or it can be repurposed.
To remove a code from an account, and disconnect it from the reseller license, simply deactivate the client account. A dedicated code linked to 1 client account will be available for disconnection if that account is deactivated. Once the account is deactivated follow Step 3 below to disconnect the code from the reseller license.
For accounts with multiple dedicated-codes, or a dedicated-code that is used across multiple accounts, follow all of the steps below:
Step 1.
Remove the code from the Text Reminder System and all Mobile Campaigns.
- Log into the Client Account that the code is assigned to.
- Replace the messaging code in any Text Reminder Workstation (TRS Workstation) it is linked to. Follow the steps below:
- Click Text Reminders from the main menu
- Click the edit icon for a workstation
- Click the radio button for the replacement from the Messaging Code list
- Click the UPDATE button to save the changes
- Replace the messaging code in any Mobile Campaign it is linked to. Follow the steps below:
- Click Messaging from the main menu
- Click Mobile Campaigns
- Click the edit icon for the desired Campaign
- Click the Campaign Information tab
- Click the Messaging Code drop down menu and select the replacement Code
- Click the UPDATE button to save the changes
- If the campaign cannot be saved because the keyword already exists on the updated message code, either select a different messaging code or delete the campaign entirely.
Step 2.
Remove the code from all Client's Accounts.
- From the Master Account, click the edit icon for the client account
- Locate the Messaging Code Settings section and click the blue SET button to designate a new default code for the account.
- Click the red REMOVE button to remove the code from the account.
- A white REMOVE button indicates that the code is still inked to elements in the account.
Step 3.
Remove the code from the Master Account.
- From the Master Account, click Account Information
- Click Messaging Codes
- Locate the code to be removed and click the DISCONNECT button to remove it from the reseller license.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Disconnect Requests are permanent and cannot be reversed.
Step 4.
Use the Messaging Code page's Order History button to confirm that the disconnect request was "Completed". If the disconnect order "FAILED", please submit a ticket or email support@ivisionmobile.com
Step 5.
If removing a 10-DLC, send an email to support@ivisionmobile.com with the subject and message body below. This is an essential step in removing 10-DLCs that will ensure that the monthly management fee for the code will cease for future invoices.

- Message = I've removed ###-###-#### from my license. Please disable this code completely.
