QUESTION: Can you set up abandoned cart triggers to send a text?
- It depends on the 3rd party apps data made available for the selected trigger type. If the ecommerce site can trigger step 1 of a Zap when a cart is abandoned, and if the contact information includes a mobile number, then yes, you can trigger a TRANSACTIONAL notification that they have abandoned their cart.
QUESTION: If you use a sharable zap, and while using it the creator decides not to share it any longer, will the zap still work?
- Yes. Once you use a sharable Zap within your own Zapier account, the Zap you created now belongs to your account. The shareable link you used will no longer function is they revoke the share permission, but any Zap you created with the shareable will continue to function.
QUESTION: For the abandoned cart reminder, is there a way to send that customer back their specific account or cart?
- If the data supplied by the ecommerce site includes an account specific link related to the contact's cart then, yes, the link can be inserted into a message. Due to its length, this will likely require adding an additional step to the Zap that uses the Create Short URL API call so that you can insert a shortened url into the text message.
