Starting in mid-2021, shared short codes will start to phase out and every business will be required to have their own dedicated business-texting phone number moving forward.  The options and pricing are down below. 

1. Dedicated Short Code:
   1. One time carrier setup fee $1800
   2. Monthly lease fee - $500 (for a random code)
   3. Monthly maintenance fee - $250 (charged by iVision for managing code and maintaining w/ good standards, dealing with audits, etc.)
   4. Process – 2-4 weeks

        2. Toll-Free #:

1. No setup fee
2. $2.50/month
3. Account active = immediate
4. Texting active = "pending state" achieved within 2-7 business days (allows for message sending), complete verification within 4-5 weeks.

<< IMPORTANT >> Starting January 31st, 2024 "pending state" traffic will no longer be supported. All traffic on toll-free numbers "pending verification" will be blocked.

4. optional $40 enhanced vetting fee to increase score 
5. Account active = immediate
6. Texting active = achieved within 2-7 business
