Subject: NEW Default User Assignment & Catch All Activation

 


The team has just released a new tool in the Account Information menu of reseller master accounts that facilitates assigning Messaging Code Default Users. When assigned to an account, this will enable the account to activate a Catch All.


Log-in to the master account for the license > click Account Information > Then click Messaging Code Users.




Catch All - As the name suggests, a catch all captures all messages sent to a code and makes them visible within the message inbox and received log of the account. Whether a contact replies to a message they were sent, or whether a new contact sends a random message to the code, the catch all will capture to message and display it in the account's message inbox and received log.


Once the default user has been assigned, log in to the client account > click Messaging > Mobile Campaigns, and create a campaign with the keyword "CATCHALL"  on the Toll-Free Messaging Code. Configure the 001 message as the Catch All Bounce Back message.


Then, go to Mobile Settings > then click the CAMPAIGN NOT SET prompt to select the campaign that will catch the incoming messages. 




Note: A Catch All can only be used with a dedicated code that is assigned to one account only. A Catch All cannot be activated for shared codes used across numerous accounts.



OPTIONAL - Catch All Bounce Back - When a catch all has been activated for an account, an optional auto-response message can be configured using a campaign's interactive messages to deliver a text to the contact.


From the Mobile Settings menu of the client's account click the NOT SET prompt in the Auto-Response field to select a keyword to activate the campaign message to be sent in response to the incoming messages
