Subject: v2 APIs Available

Our engineers are undertaking a painstaking process that will gradually convert all version 1 APIs to version 2. 

Q: Why is this being done? 

A: Because version 2 APIs utilize token-based authentication, creating a more secure connection and providing greater control over APIs authorized for use with an account. 

Several version 2 (v2) APIs are available in BETA MODE through the API REFERENCE tab of the "Gateway API - Version 2.0 - Beta Mode" menu. 

Where available, it is strongly recommended to use the v2 API option over the v1 API option. In time, all v1 APIs will no longer be supported. Updating APIs currently in use now to version 2, when available, will save valuable time later and avoid any disruption when its version 1 counterpart is disabled. 

To view v2 APIs, please go to MESSAGING > GATEWAY API > and click ** GATEWAY API - VERSION 2.0 - BETA MODE **. Then, click the API REFERENCE tab of the v2 API page to see the current v2 APIs available.
