Subject: NEW Custom MMS File Size Restriction

In an effort to increase sending speeds for accounts broadcasting MMS Messages with attached content (ex: .JPG & .GIF)  our engineers have created a new control within the client admin that allows resellers to lower the file size threshold for uploading MMS content. 

Why was this added? Many high volume accounts (ex 10k contacts +) continue to upload content with the file maximum size. As advised in the MMS Size Recommendations, the higher the contact count to be reached in a broadcast, the LOWER the MMS File Size needs to be. MMS file size is critically important with larger lists and will exponentially affect your delivery speeds. (see image below)

The MMS File Size Restriction allows resellers to customize the MMS content threshold for an account, restricting users to uploading lower files sizes, and helping increase MMS delivery speeds.

This new tool is accessible for each account in the Client Admin. Click the edit icon for the desired account and locate the MMS Content Image Size option in the Account Preferences section.
