New Requirements: August 4, 2025
Subject: Updated Toll-Free Verification Requirements
In the coming weeks the TF Verification form will undergo a number of structural changes. These are aimed at assisting resellers with submitting details, samples, and CTAs that meet vetting partner requirements, as well as requesting additional information that these partners are now requiring.
This includes but is not limited to:
- Public Facing Business Name
- Keyword for Text-In Programs
- Help & Stop Contact Information
- Auto-generated Sample CTAs for Text-in & Kiosk opt-in methods
- Business Registration Number
- Business Registration Type
- Business Registration Country
What You Need to Know
- Public Facing Business Name - Effective when the new form is launched, you will be required to include a Public Facing Business Name. This can be the same as a legal business name, but should be used to identify the naming convention applied to texts when referring to the company name.
- Keyword for Text-In Programs - If the verification uses a text-in opt-in method, you will be required to enter the keyword for the program. If selecting a Mixed Use program with the text-in opt-in method, you will be required to enter 2 distinct keywords, one for each message type's call to action.
- Help & Stop Contact Information - Enter the email address, phone number of website that was entered into the account's mobile settings, or the keyword campaign's help & stop contact information.
- Un-editable Sample Descriptions, Flows, and Messages - These fields will continue to be displayed but they will no longer be editable prior to submission.
- Auto-Generated Sample CTAs - When selecting Text-in or Kiosk opt-in methods, the TF Verification form will auto-generate CTAs with the details provided. Any auto-generated sample can be easily copied, saved, and uploaded as the CTA for the submission. This addition should help stream line submissions and reduce verification delays caused by insufficient and inconsistent details.
- Business Registration Number, Type, and Country - What has been required of 10-DLC Brand Registrations for years is now being required with TF Verifications.
- Effective January 1st 2026, upstream partners will begin requiring all TF Verifications to include the official Employer Identification Number - EIN (US), or Canada Revenue Agency - CRA (Canada).
- While required documents will vary by country, please ensure you can provide a document that shows:
- The legal business name
- The valid business registration number
- The name of the issuing authority
All of the new fields will be added to the TF Verification form in the weeks ahead.
All of the new fields except Business Registration Number, Type, and Country will be required.
Business Registration Number, Type, and Country will remain optional until January 2026. Effective 1/1/2026, these fields will be required.
Please contact support if you have any questions or concerns about these changes.
