Subject: *IMPORTANT* Kiosk Pro Lite Moving to Subscription Pricing
We wanted to make you aware of an upcoming change to Kiosk Pro Lite, the 3rd party iPad kiosk application developed by Kiosk Group that many of our clients use for digital displays, self-service stations, lead capture, and interactive experiences.
After more than 15 years as a free application, Kiosk Group has announced that Kiosk Pro Lite will transition to a paid subscription model later this month.
What is changing?
According to Kiosk Group:
- Existing users will receive a 30-day free trial of the new management platform.
- Existing customers will be offered a discounted rate of approximately $2 per device per month.
- New customers will be charged approximately $5 per device per month.
- The subscription includes access to a web-based kiosk management dashboard, content management tools, and additional kiosk-building features.
What does this mean for you?
If you currently use Kiosk Pro Lite, your kiosk should continue operating normally during the transition period. However, after the trial period, an active subscription may be required to continue using the application. Removing the Apple ID and disabling updates on the iPad device are expected to prevent the app from auto-updating when the subscription service goes into effect.
